The Stokes Model 566 is a multi-layer rotary compacting press designed to produce tablets with up to three separate layers. Features of the press include:
Construction
Three-piece head, three point mounted feed frame, heavy-duty bearings / components and enclosed upper section are supplied with see-through doors and a safety interlocking system.
Safety Features
Locking the lever in a disengaged position reduces the likelihood of accidental starting. All guards are interlocked to prevent access during operation.
Layer Inspection
An ejection system is provided to allow for removal of individual layers for physical inspection or weight checking purposes.
Adjustable Spring Release
This feature maintains desired pressure and helps to protect tools against damage or breakage in case of accidental overload.
Adjustable Upper Roll
The adjustable upper roll permits compacting of layers at exact points in the die.
